Gnosticism and Homestuck + LE theories

Wow. I can’t believe I didn’t see this before.

gardenGnostic is the screen name of a girl who spends most of her time in the immaterial  world, and, by using the wisdom she gathers there, manages to assist her material bound friends.

Timaeustestified. Dirk’s screen name and a man featured in Plato’s dialogues who recounts the creation of the world through a Demiurge (see more below) and also recounts the creation of the World SOUL through Sameness, Difference, and Existence.

(It is important to note that Yaldabaoth is the demiurge associated with Timaeus. This demiurge, along with Abraxas, are the two denizens not associated with classical greek mythology. Hussie’s Yaldabaoth is a snake/worm like creature who’s head is a sun.)

Demiurges themselves are imperfect beings who create universes from chaos. Like the Beta kids and Trolls they attempt to create new worlds as perfectly as possible but, being imperfect themselves and given only chaos to work with, cannot make ideal worlds/universes.

And then there’s God Tier. Physical death in the material world results in ascension to the immaterial (merging with dream self) and gives one greater power and access to more wisdom. It also makes one immune to physical death unless powerful moral circumstances (Just Death vs. Heroic Death) are involved.

Abraxas and Lord English.

See this post

Abraxas is the GOD above the demiurges. A perfect merging of good and evil. Often depicted as a being with the head of a rooster and the body of a man with TWO SERPENTS for feet.

Described in Carl Gustav Jung’s “Seven Sermons to the Dead” (hmmm, we know there are AT LEAST six books in the “Complacency of the Learned” series… meaning there could be one more…) Abraxas is described as such:

“There is a God about whom you know nothing, because men have forgotten him. We call him by his name: Abraxas. He is less definite than God or Devil…. Abraxas is activity: nothing can resist him but the unreal…. Abraxas stands above the sun and above the devil…. If the Pleroma were capable of having a being, Abraxas would be its manifestation… That which is spoken by God-the-Sun is life; that which is spoken by the Devil is death; Abraxas speaketh that hallowed and accursed word, which is life and death at the same time. Abraxas begetteth truth and lying, good and evil, light and darkness in the same word and in the same act. Wherefore is Abraxas terrible.”

Jake, sorry, but you or your dream self is getting prototyped with your denizen. ‘Nuff said.
